The Look of Music
We had the privilege of doing a shoot for Eyes & Ears, an emerging record label in Abbotsford. (Joel, the man with the plan has been a lifelong friend of mine.) We tried a number of setups, and really took some time to experiment. One thing that I’m impressed with again and again is the patience of people as we work through the process. There is a lot of problem-solving and thinking on our feet. While we try to work quickly, when we’re trying to achieve a certain concept, time flies.
We nearly lost an expensive flash on this shoot when the wind caught an umbrella, and tossed the stand, flash and brolly off the curb and into the street. But it’s pro gear, and it’s still clicking along. Phewf! And there will be sandbags included any time we’re on location — lesson learned!
