With a combined decade-and-a-half of part-time professional experience, and roughly two lifetimes’ worth of passionate engagement of images, the two photographers behind Kiss of Light are well-versed in the craft.
Brad’s day job is Communications Manager for a local non-profit organisation. The role occasionally takes him to distant international destinations, and also roots him in the here-and-now. A self-professed eternal learner, he enjoys the part of photography that involves creative problem-solving, taking on fresh challenges and especially meeting new people. He shoots with Pentax gear, and is open to any and all sponsorship offers. :-)
Deb’s background is theatre. She enjoys the personal connection that photography affords, and the ability to tell people’s stories with a camera. She occasionally plays of the role of assistant, helping to work, shape and modify the light needed to achieve a particular shot. She brings the all-important women’s touch to Kiss of Light, including attention to details on a shoot (errant necklaces are a speciality). Whether it’s a wedding, or we’re out shooting with friends, Deb is an expert at keeping the feel light-hearted and fun.
Greg’s journey in photography began about 1.5 decades ago, and he has been a part-time professional since then. He has invested a lot of time and energy into learning the craft, and continues to. He enjoys knuckling down and making great photographs with creative use of light and angles.
Together, Kiss of Light also runs LightCatchers, a photo education station for enthusiasts of all kinds. If you’re interested you can check it out here.
